Rebranding and Some More Birds From HHI

Happy New Year! Before we get to the birds, I wanted to talk briefly about rebranding Yardisabi. I am going through all of my social media sites and sort of bringing them into the larger Plossville community. I have already rebranded our YouTube channel as PlossvilleTV for instance.

That being said I do love the name Yardisabi and while the YouTube rebranding was easy, it was just my name, losing Yardisabi was more difficult. So I chose the easy way out, and I added a tagline.

I have a lot of exciting things planned for the greater Plossville community for 2023. I hope that you'll be excited about the changes and additions as I am.

Now, to the birds!

This little Song Sparrow kept popping up on the railing that separates the Shelter Cove Community Park on Hilton Head Island South Carolina from the Broad Creek Estuary.

Great Egret flying into the sunset. For two nights, the air came alive at sunset.

Another Great Egret in failing light.

A White Ibis, another first for me, was part of a flight of three.

A Great Blue Heron flies towards the setting sun over the Broad Creek Estuary.

We've discussed the fact that as long as he and his stay out of the house....

Song Sparrow

From what I can find, this appears to be an adult Song Sparrow (Eastern Form). He was new this morning.
